New format: More Clubs, More Matches!
The 2021/22 season will see the introduction of the UEFA Europa Conference League. With the addition of the Conference League, fans can look forward to seeing more clubs in action across Europe over coming season. The new competition structure sees that both competitions will have 32 teams from the group-stage onwards, resulting in match weeks, compared to 15 in the previous seasons. Moreover, there will be an increase in broadcasting slots from the current 25 to 28. And finally, to the delight of football fans across world the total number matches will increase from 205 in the previous season to a combined 282, starting in the 2021/22 season.

They become part of the opening ceremony and are allowed to carry the centre circle banner. By giving young people who have lost loved ones in a car accident a special chance to become a Centre Circle Carrier, Hankook is striving to draw attention to the subject of traffic safety.
