  • Inventory Management Specialist

I. Position Identification

Job Title -  Logistics Specialist - Inventory Management 

Job - Plan, organize and control the assigned range of SKUs to meet the target level for fill rate and stock on hand. Expedite production and shipment of replenishment orders as necessary to fill supply gaps within specified time. Work with Inventory Manager on special projects as assigned. 

Report to - Inventory Control Manager (Supply Chain Planning, SCP)

II. Job Purpose

Monitor and control the inventory level of assigned Stock Keeping Units (SKU) to ensure each has the appropriate stock level at each DC to meet the target fill rate. Execute necessary action plan to resolve stockout and low stock situations as directed by management.

III. Key Accountabilities

-Analysis/Simulation of the assigned range of SKUs to meet all targets for inventory performance.

-Coordinate the processing of forecasts from Corporate Sales Management Team.

-Work closely with Inventory Control Manager to manage replinishment orders with factories.

-Works with Import and Logistics teams to resolve any out-of-line situations

-Prepares reports and presentations for Corporate management and leadership on stock status.

-Complete all tasks and assignments as directed by Inventory Control Manager or Director - SCM.

-Responsibility of RDC physical inventory, data integrity, year end accounting and reporting.

VI. Qualifications

-A bachelor's degree required

-A bachelor's degree relevant to Business Administration and Supply Chain Management preferred

-At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Inventory Control / SKU Management required

-High level of proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook required

-Familiarity with ERP System(SAP) and Warehouse Management System(WMS) preferred
